Our History

Rich Davis, M.D., creator the original KC Masterpiece™ barbecue sauce, also founded our world famous restaurant.

Many of the house specialties at our restaurant are Davis Family favorites, made from recipes that have passed the test of time and the tastes of three generations.

Truth or Myth?

Myth: Barbecue is always full of fat.

Truth: All KC Masterpiece™ barbecue meats, unlike many barbecue restaurants, are carefully trimmed of excess fat, leaving protein rich, nutritious meat.

Giving Back

Closed pit and open flame cooking require the burning of wood. Because we need this valuable resource, we plant a tree for every one that we use. We are helping to replant the forests through the National Arbor Day Foundation.
